Starzone Sports is proud and happy to announce that Starzone has renewed its agreement with Wings HC until the 2022/23 season.
The new agreement, which runs for 2 years, means that Wings HC, as one of the first associations in Sweden, will implement Starzone's development platform for training youth players U9 to U14. The development platform for players will be implemented from the start of the 2021/22 season and gives Wings HC a platform to implement a quality-assured training methodology in all its youth teams with the help of Starzone.
Through the development platform, Wings HC gets:
- Complete sesason planning for training on and off the ice
- Video-based exercises and detailed instructional videos for all parts of the education
- Every month broken down into complete workouts on and off the ice
- Defined knowledge goals for each age that are measured 3 times a year
- Knowledge goals are measured and documented directly in the platform
- All coaches and leaders in all teams have access to the development platform and share in real time all information about which training is to be carried out
In a comment, says Thomas Eriksson, CEO of Starzone Sports. Through my work as a youth manager in Wings HC for the past 5 years, I have met all youth players and coaches every week to conduct high-quality technical training. Through the development platform, we can now build on the training methodology we have developed in a modern and cost-effective way and give all coaches and leaders the opportunity to carry it out every training session.
Through this, I as a youth manager and all my coaches can have a 100% common consensus on training on and off the ice and what knowledge goals we should achieve at any given time. We also create an inspiring work environment where all coaches have the opportunity to spend more time on their leadership, which we know is the single most important area to develop. It includes everything from having more time to talk to individual players, to giving more and better feedback, to having time and energy every day to inspire the players.
By implementing common knowledge goals that are measured directly in the platform, we can also follow up and constantly develop the training and each individual.
In a comment, says Jonathan Petterson, board member of Wings HC. In a comment, says Jonathan Pettersson, vice chairman of Wings HC. Wings HC has a high ambition to be a leading association in developing talented hockey players. In order for our youth players to receive as good a hockey education as possible, we want to give coaches and leaders tools to conduct a structured training with a focus on long-term. We achieve this by implementing a complete development platform that includes all training, both on and off the ice, put together in a thorough seasonal planning which means that our coaches and leaders work with a common and long-term plan. Doing it together with Starzone and Thomas and taking steps towards a common vision every week feels incredibly stimulating.
The implementation of the Development Platform will begin immediately at the start of the 2021/22 season.
